  8. AmiCom is a very simple client/server setup for Amiga to Psion S3
  9. communication.
  10.  
  11. In the hope that these programs are useful to someone other than myself, I
  12. decided to upload the initial hacked-up versions.  Here's what they do:

  14. AMICOM.OPL & AMICOM.OPO
  15. -----------------------
  16.  
  17.    You only need put AMICOM.OPO in your \OPO directory on any drive;
  18. AMICOM.OPL is there in case you want to clean it up, refurbish it, and send it
  19. back to me :)

  21.    On running, AMICOM should send it's screen to the back and lay waiting for
  22. commands on the serial port.  The settings are coded in at 9600, 8N1, so if you
  23. have a 3a you might want to re-translate AMICOM with a higher baudrate.

  25. Psion.rexx

  28.    Bung this in your REXX: directory.  I also put this alias line in my
  29. s:shell-startup file:
  30.  
  31.       Alias psi "rx rexx:psion.rexx []"
  32.  
  33.    So all you have to do is type 'psi cmd' in a shell to transfer files, list
  34. directories etc.  Type 'psi help' for a brief rundown of supported commands.

  39.    I've also included rexxserdev.library (with docs) since psion.rexx needs
  40. it.  The whole package is obtainable as util/rexx/rxser501.lha on Aminet.
